| 10 Weeks Pregnant |
| December 01, 2003 As of today I'm a little over 10 weeks pregnant. I'm already beginning to show and have traded in my pants for ...well, Mike's pants :) I'm really really excited! My mom cried when she found out (hehe I planned it that way) it was funny. I sent her a "hapy thanksgiving Grandma" card and when I called her she answered the phone, not with "hello" but with "Are you sure???" Priceless! We told Mike's mom the day before Thanksgiving and let her tell the rest of the family. We didn't get much of a response from his family. Only two sentences were said about it..." when are you due" and "have you been to the doctor yet?" I really wanted to cry when I got home, not one congradulation or concern about how I felt about it. Granted there are tons of kids in his family already (Mike's mom has 7 grandkids currently), but this is my first baby... Ah well... not much I can do about it and I'm not going to let it bug me. I'm not sure if my little sister and brother know yet. I'm letting my mom tell them and I'm not sure if she's gotten a hold of them yet. I wonder what their reaction will be like :) I've been spending a lot of time at www.babycenter.com and their message boards have proved wonderful for information and support. |
