I can't believe I'm at 31 weeks already! This pregnancy has been so wonderful so far, I am so blessed. Kairi kicks and moves around all the time, and aside form the occasional painful jab to a sore muscle I love it! My tummy is getting big (43 inches around!) and my boobs are in working order lol

Work has been good, but I still need to make myself got on much more often, cause I've got a budget to keep and midwives to pay, but I have faith that all will work out just fine :) Our money situation is actually improving quite wel, and Mike is getting a new job at FedEx! I am incredibly happy about this, as now he'll be able to work more than one or two days a week, which is what he's been getting at Wilsons. Mike's the kind of guy that feels better with steady work so I hate seeing him sit around the house so much, it's just not good for him. What's really great is that the hours he'll be getting won't interfere with school and apparently FedEx also has a program to help out with college!

My OB wants to see me every two weeks now, and wants to start regulr internal check at 36 weeks when they do the beta strep test. I'll go to the appointments, but I'll be damned if I'm letting a doctor poke around where she doesn't belong doing something that has no real purpose. That's my vagina thank you very much.

We still have quite a bit to do before the baby gets here. We still need to get her cloth diapers as i really don't even want to use sposies during the meconium stage but we've got two whole packages of them and I don't want them to go to waste. I also really need to get the bedroom better organized, move some things around, put some things away in the basement, and just generally get it ready for the birth and the baby. I also want to paint the walls before she's born- I hate the brown wood paneling, it's soooo depressing. I also really want to install a closet organizer into the main closet so we can actually get use of the space.

The only big complaint I have right now is that Mike's car has been in the shop for a month! The head gasket blew and Mike's dad said he'd get it fixed for us, saying it'd be maybe a week or two, and it's been sitting in the lot of the mechanic for a month now, has been checked out but nothing has been repaired at all. So, Mike's parents let us use their old '79 cadillac-which is HUGE,I won't drive it, it's too big for me to feel safe behind the wheel. And now the battery in the caddy is dead so we have no transportation and have to rely on borrowing his parent's SUV or asking them for a ride anytime we need to go somewhere. Luckily that's the main stress right now, so not too bad :)
