| 33 Weeks Pregnant |
05/12/04 Today, I had my first prenatal with the midwives in two months. Everything is coming along great! My weight is 181 lbs, fundal height is at 30 weeks ( a little behind but nothing to be too concerned about), Kairi's heartbeat is good and strong and she is already engaged! Her position is LOA, which basically means she's head down with her left side laying towards my back, so she's not breech and not posterior, very good! We talked about paying the fee too, and I must say I feel one thousand times better! They gave me a financial agreement and told me to sit down with Mike and realisticlly look ar our finances, write down what we think we can pay and when and not to stress over it. So, no more 36 week deadline. We'll still be paying after Kairi is brn, but now I don't have this huge cloud over my head. I can't count the times I had gotten depressed, mad cried, etc because I was so worried tht I owuld have to birth in the hospital if I couldn't pay. Now, knowing that they are more than wiling to be flexible and understanding, I fee very happy and free. I can now enjoy my pregnancy without that doubt in the back of my mind. We were also given 11 gently used cloth diapers and a wool soaker from the lady who hosts the meetings. We still need diaer covers, but it's great o have the diapers. i still want to get some prefolds and a couple all-in-ones, but these will definately help! Since we're working out a payment plan, we will be able to buy some diapers and the sling before Kairi is born, which makes me feel great :) |
