My Book List
Just about everyone has their favorte books, and it is no different for Witches.  I'd like to share with you a list of my favorite books. I would love to discuss any of the books listed below, and would appreciate any suggestions on books you think I should read!
Pagan Books
"The Truth About Witchcraft Today" by Scott Cunningham
This is a great introductory book and it's very inexpensive. It contains great basic information on Wicca and folk magick.

"Green Witchcraft 1, 2, & 3" by Ann Moura (Aoumiel)

These three books are wonderful! Written by a hereditary Witch, it focuses mainly on a Wiccan type practice, but it very helpful to the Hedge and Kitchen Witches. A very good read, easy to follow and  something I have read multiple times.
Note: Ann Moura also has a book out called "Green Magick" but I have not read it yet, I would love to hear your opinions on this book!

"Practical Candleburning Rituals" by Raymond Buckland

This book serves as a wonderful guide to design your own candle burning spells and rituals. It is appropriate for Pagans and Christians alike as each ritual has a Christian version and an "old religion version".
Fiction books
The Harry Potter Series by J.K.Rowling

Yes, I know, I'm an adult and I'm reading a children series. These are truly wonderful books, I love them. In fact I would go so far as to say that they are my all time favorite books.  Rowling writing style keeps you turning the pages (Mike had to bargain with me several times to put the books down and come to bed while I was reading the series!)  I can't wait for year 6!

"The Chronicles of Narnia" by C.S.Lewis

Yep, more children's books! "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" was my favorite movie growing up and I finally got around to reading the Chronicles. I'm reading the third book right now, so I can't say anything for the remaining books in the series but what I've read so far has been absolutely wonderful!

"The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley

The Arturian tales told from the female perspective. A Must read, especially for young Pagan women! It looks like a long book on the shelf, but once you get into it you can't put it down! I would very much like to read the other books in the series!
Non-Fiction books
"The Village Herbalist" by Nancy and Michael Phillips

This book provides a glance into the life of a real herbalist and is a grea introduction to the field of herbal healing as a profession. The book provides an extensive suggested reading list as well as a lot of personal insight. I definately reccomend this book!
