Reminiscing with my friends
who have always been there for me,
The way he looks me in the eye
even when he says "good bye",
Chocolate and junk food on a bad day,
Leaving school on the last day
knowing I have the next two months off,
Getting my pay check every Friday,
Winning an award at a band show,
Being complimented on my looks or intelligence,
Listening to music,
Seeing my best friend's face first thing in the morning,
even though I know she really wants to frown,
But most of all
Memories make me smile.
