Secondary Characters
Name: Jake Mizuka
Other Names: Blade Runner
Family: Crystal (younger sister), Shuko (father), Marian (mother)
Age: 26
Birthday: August 13, 1893
Birthplace: The Technological City of Dragonis Carpe (Dragon Seize)
Hair Color: Silver Blonde
Eye Color: Blue
Height: 194 cm (approximately 6'4")

Description: Three months before Crystal set out looking for him, Jake volunteered to be the test subject in one of Kuukyo's experiments that involved a forbidden branch of alchemy. The result was that he lost his memories and became a tool of war, but eventually ran away from it all in an effort to find some way to recall what had been lost. That was how he came to become Crystal's traveling companion, Blade Runner.  Even after recovering his memories, he still refused to reveal his true identity to Crystal as he was ashamed of how stubborn he had been when he had insisted on participating in the experiments.  Unfortunately Kuukyo accidently slipped that information so everyone found out anyway.

Personality: As Blade he is still generally jovial, gung-ho, and at least in Edward's case, a bit of an overgrown tease. As Jake he is struggling with who he is now and who he used to be, while also trying to look out for his sister without revealing himself.

Talents: His body is entirely grafted in metal.  He uses this metal to create various weapons that he fights with and they shoot out of his body at his command, but unfortunately it breaks his skin every time leaving deep gashes in his body.  Because of the metal he is nearly indestructable. His healing rate increases when he sleeps, giving him the ability to survive the punishment his body withstands.

Likes: His traveling companions, systematically teasing Edward about his height.

Dislikes: The knowledge he has gained from his restored memories, what he allowed to happen to himself.
Name: Hagane Tenshi (Fullmetal Angel)
Other Names: Tenshi, Ten-chan
Family: Hohenheim Elric (creator)
Age: Unknown, from 14-16
Birthday: December 7
Birthplace: Unknown
Hair Color: Violet
Eye Color: Deep Blue-Violet
Height: 168 cm (approximately 5'6") with heels, 161 cm (approximately 5'3") without

Description: She wears a white, tight-fitting shirt with sleeves that puff up around the shoulders, then slim down to fit to her arms exactly. The collar of her shirt is flipped up to about her chin, with a red bow tied at the neckline. The collar and shoulder part are navy blue, with gold trim on the shoulders. Her sleeves reach to the top of her hands, and end in a triangular-shape that goes to her fingers. There is also gold trim at her wrists/hands. She has an iron contraction secured around her waist that hold up her wings. Her wings are very, very large; a little above her height. From the iron around her waist comes even more iron, long bars of it fashioned into slightly-curved pieces. They're all attached together by their concave ends and round iron spheres secured to the ends so that she can move her wings freely. And the actual "wings" part are huge, 5'8'' razor-sharp blades; possibly the most impressive part about her. There's a large iron bow also attached to her waist, possibly to help her maintain balance. Her skirt is semi-sailor-fuku style, navy blue in color. She wears boots of the same color that reach about an inch or two from her skirt. The boots fit the shape of her legs exactly, and end in 5'' heels. She has iron knee-bracers on, also. She usually carries a long staff that resembles her wings; there's a blade on each side of the staff that are miniatures of her wings.

Hagane-Tenshi (Or "Tenshi", as she is usually called) is a very skinny, small-framed person for her age. Her age is undecided, as she can't remember what year she was born. It is certain, though, that she is no older than 16 and no younger than 14. She was created by human alchemy by the Elric Brother's father, but he failed slightly. Her spine was deformed, and she couldn't move because of it. Angered by how the rest of his experiment was perfect, but faltered by one mishap, he created her iron wings, and had them surgically attached to her waist. After a few more surgeries, she was able to walk with the help of the weight put on her. He left her to stay with an old friend of his for a while while he went to go to the war that had just began. But before he left, he wrote her a letter, asking her to promise to look after his sons and aid them in any way possible. When she was old enough to read the letter, she began to wonder who his sons were. Edward and Alphose Elric, she read. She asked around eventually, and found out as much as she could about them. On the day that the war raged through her town, she decided to travel out on her own to find the Elric Brothers, and become their "maid", or any form of assistance to them. She had made up her mind to keep the promise as well as she could.

Personality: Tenshi is a very shy, meek, submissive person. This is usually from people always staring at her and frowning upon her appearance, most of all her wings. She obeys every command given to her (that is within reason to her), and enjoys working for other people as long as it makes them happy. Even though she has been alone most of her life, she isn't very well off by herself. When she speaks, her voice is a bit high-pitched than normal and she blushes a bit. This is from a number of things: Lack of socialization, conversation, and also because that's just how she is. If she can ever find the Elric Brothers, the traits listed above will be in even more effect than usual.

Talents: Unknown

Likes: Unknown

Dislikes: Unknown
Name: Doubt
Other Names: Homunculus Doppleganger , The Ultimate Weakness
Family: Dante (creator), Crystal (weakness)
Age: 19 (by appearance)
Born In: 1916
Birthplace: Central
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue-Green (naturally), Purple (negative emotional state)
Height: 168 cm (approximately 5'6")

Description: At present, she is a homunculus created by Dante.  She was created in Crystal's image, a sort of experimental alternative because stealing the girl's real body had proven to be more difficult than originally anticipated.  However, since a homunculus cannot perform alchemy, the experiment was quickly abandoned and Doubt was disowned as a failure.

Personality: She might come off as cold, calculating and downright melancholy to an observer, but underneath it all she has the same passive and carefree attitude as Crystal which makes her slow to anger.  Given that she apparently lacks any real purpose since the failure of her creation, the homunculus known as Doubt has little reason to trust anyone.  That is the reason why she has adopted a much more pessimistic outlook on her existence than the original.

Talents: She has the strength and dexterity of a typical homunculus, but lacks any unique power of her own.  She is also excessively insightful which is just one of the methods she uses to make her would-be antagonists nervous.  Although she has no memories of her own, she is able to recognize people and places familiarly associated with Crystal's past.  She is also skilled with a variety of bladed weapons, an ability possibly attributed to Crystal's muscle memory.

Likes: She likes to travel, if only because it gets her away from the familiar monotony of living in Central and the familiar faces she can't quite place.  She feels more at ease when surrounded by the natural environment rather than by remaining in the city.

Dislikes: She hates it when she is mistaken for Crystal, even if they do happen to look identical.
Name: Pride
Other Names: Pride Edo, Prido
Family: Dante (creator?)
Age: 19 (by appearance)
Born In: 1917
Birthplace: Central
Hair Color: Golden Blonde
Eye Color: Gold
Height: 170 cm (approximately 5'7")

Description: He was discovered by Suicide wandering around the woods with a severely limited vocabulary and no available memory except that he was searching for "Aru".  It is believed that he was created by Dante, similarly to Doubt in that he is designed to look like someone who is still clearly among the living, in this case being Edward Elric.

Personality: After a brief trip through the local educational system, Pride has proven to be a reasonably faster learner.  He seems to have an underlying fixation with Alphonse, although the reasons for this are unclear even to him.  He also spends a great deal of time with Suicide still trying to fit himself into society.  He is typically friendly, if somewhat naive, and curious about absolutely everything.

Likes: He's perfectly willing to try new things so long as someone is there to tell him what a new food or activity is.  Textbook definitions or teaching by example work especially well.

Dislikes: He dislikes not knowing about his past, but Suicide has convinced him that sometimes knowing isn't necessarily a good thing either.
The Characters
Disclaimer:

The parties involved in this RP take no credit for Fullmetal Alchemist or its characters.  I personally blame Square Enix, because just about anything they have been involved in the making of that I somehow found out about has ended up on my list of obsessions.  This holds true for past releases such as Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Warrior Monsters, Legend of the Crystals based on Final Fantasy, and Final Fantasy Unlimited.  It also holds true for future releases such as Kingdom Hearts II and Final Fantasy VII Advent Children.  Fullmetal Alchemist is no exception.

Jake Mizuka is a character of my own invention melded with the background story of Blade Runner, also played under the SN of "bladerunner0666" as they are inherently the same person anyway.  Hagane Tenshi is the creation of a friend of Cat's and is played under the SN of "hagane_tenshi".  Doubt is a character of my own invention, played under the SN of "homunculus_doppleganger_doubt".

The same friend who is in this RP as Blade Runner has often joked that I should consider writing for Square Enix.  For now, I think I'll just stick to role-playing.
