The Chastity Revelation Part II
And it continues~
"He thumped with a loud groan, and then was silent...painstakenly silent." A certain feeling emerged from my inner being at that very moment. I feeling of shivering, controllable shivering, I then was released. The invisible binding I had was destroyed. I did that. I did all on my own. For at that time I was a mother killer, and father killer. I have learned over the years, that you can lock and hide certain memories, but you can not erase them. How I yearn to, every star, upon every night I wish. None ever came true. Alone I stood their listening, and I heard nothing but the same chatter of the rats ringing into my mind, I was frozen. The statue known as Chastity stood there all of a solid hour. I never did check on him, once broken the statue, I turned and looked around the manor, it was indeed a palace. I can remember my surprise, as I looked at the lovely things within the place, I felt as though I traveled to the very stars I weaved stories from, and landed in a nebula of castles. Something urged me into one of the rooms, I followed the strength of the urges, and opened the door, pushing it in, as I did this a thick shield of dust squandered as if the room was locked up for a lengthy time, the scents that was driven into my nasal passages, sweet scents of rose, jasmine, violet sprays....I..didnt know what to make of it, as I stood there within the threshold amazed. Glorious gowns, jewels, slippers...all within this room. If at any time within my life had mine eyes buldged, it was indeed this day. Something special caught my attention, it was a simple wooden desk, upon it was a thick leather bound journal opened up to the page of, February 20th. Although, I could not read...I gazed upon the fine penmanship, the scrolled feminine script and smelled the sweet scents of perfume. Somehow deep within the maze of my soul, I knew it had to be my mothers. That is the only thing I took from the manor, and to this day, I have it still. I then lifted it and stuck it under my arm, walked through the doors, into a new day, a new life, and a new story I could weave, this time without dreams, or without stars. The sun light caught me off guard, feeling like a force heat was stinging my painful pale cheeks. Soon I accepted its embrace, yes I do believe that what it is, its a comforting embrace, Is that how a mother's embrace feels? I shall have to remember to ask Raven to describe it for me. I then headed deep within the woodland, traveling through thickets, and brushed pathes of greenery. Oh greenery, the coloring of life, raptured before me. Vibrant, youthful, extraordinary. that was my first encounter with life, and it was the coloring that struck me as the first impressions made their way into my heart. Skies of Colbat, Clouds of grey, trees of emerald marketh my way. Flowers of yellow, waters of transulcent, fruit of red, was this all by my mother's sent? I encountered few people, keeping myself hidden incase they were all like my father, for as I knew everyone was. I slept under the stars, found caverns to hide from the storms, ate from the lands. As they shared with me. I had stumbled onto a small village, it was a village of dark elves. I was thin, pale, meek and stood shorter then them, due to my age. I leader of the compound, had me surrounded as if I were a human threat. I remember the strange language, I soon would take as my own. I cowered and dropped my mother's journal as I curled up in a fetal position thinking I was captured again, and the hell would resume ten full. Still without my voice I answered him not, I stayed silent. He reached out and grabbed the journal, and took it to another, it was a medicine woman. They casted me into a tunnel hole, seemingly it was a room. They gave me this strange red drink. I didnt know then, but now it would be comparable to Vlos. It stained my lips, and made my raven curls shimmer with a healthy sheen. My cheeks regained coloring, that of a sunset pink hue. After hours, they came back to me, and spoke in the language I understood. "You are the De'Kartan child?" I knew what my name was, for it was cursed at me, beaten into me and I then spoke...my voice was broken as was my will "Aye." then they all gathered and talked that strange language again, the leader known as "Vistoth" gave me back my mother's journal, and sat down to talk with me. "Your mother saved our goddess, yet she placed this curse upon her, and now its descended down to you it seems." I had no idea what they meant, or what a curse even was...I just knew they were speaking to me, and not striking me. "Your blood is that of us kindred, even though its half human. Liason." They were a bit harsh, but not as harsh as my father. I soon grew up within the village and was taught, many things. I learned to read, write, spell cast, weild a weapon. Many years had gone by, and the humaness that made up half my being, slowly deminished, I learned there way, there vow, there gods. The medicine woman took me under her wing mostly, and shared her special gift with me. Years to follow I lost her as well, the village came under attack and it nearly died. It was time I moved on, and gathered what I could do to help my brethern, we remade a small village, with one fourth of the surviving. On my seventeenth birthday, Vistoth came to me, and told me to be on my way, it was time I ventured out that I was being cut free. I pleaded, begged...yet I knew what I had to do, and I set on my way. Over coming fears, toppling over hates, crushing those who oposed me. I learned a lot from that tribe. But I also learned a lot from my father. He taught me something very important. He showed me through his steel rein, that hope never dies. It just rests dormant until you are ready to use it. My mother taught me, to trust yourself and you wont fail you. The tribe taught me, how to overcome obstacles, and rule them, and I too, taught myself something, A heart is an ocean of secrets, many waves, tides, and hidden treasure lie within its endless sea. No matter if you are light hearted, dark hearted or netural. I came to the isle not long ago, with my daughter who I have saved from the same fate I instilled. I erased her past, and created a future for her. Here I am. Here I shall die. Here I live. Here I thrive. All on the shores of Crystal.
Sincerely:
Chastity D. De'Kartan
Journal Entry: 2nd one that day, 15 January, Chastity

Dear Journal,
I am sorry I have been remiss in writing. MY time has been spent in reflection and meditation. I was thinking of many things, and examining possibilities for life here.
I didnt come to many conclusions.
And I do not know what life will bring. I suppose it hardly matters. I simply will continue.
I finally met Eden Arcane. I had seen him a few times but never had occasion to speak to him. Well the dome was pretty empty and I decided I'd be polite, so I introduced myself. We had a nice talk. Nothing of importance or earth shattering was discussed, but he seems to be a pleasant fellow. And it was nice.
I still dont feel too 'social' but .. it's getting better. I think.
More later perhaps,

Dearest Journal,
I must have been foolish to think that for one moment there could be peace on this island. Last night I came down to the dome to find it empty, and so I tried my luck at the arena. Sure enough, Eyas, Khal, Neo and Morte were there, and Neo, Morte, Khal were involved in a spar and I decided that I would stay and watch despite my hatred of fighting and violence, I suppose I somehow knew that I would be needed. Well all was fine for awhile but eventually the fight turned into a battle and none of the men would give up, Khal was knocked unconscious and even then Neo and Morte would not quit. Eyas and I decided to try to stop them, I know that neither of us wanted to see them die, but men are often stubborn and Morte and Neo would not quit. I healed Khal and he left, but Morte would still not quit, I asked him and Neo to stop several times, Eyas threw daggers at them to get them to stop, but nothing worked, it finally got down to the point where Morte was too weak to even attack again and he gave up, I healed them both and we went back to the dome, my head was aching, it felt like it was being crushed between a strong wave and a sharp rock.
When we got back to the dome, Eyas was upset and started arguing with Neo about what a spar is and trying to explain to him that it shouln't have gone that far. Despite his protests Neo wouldn't agree and after pleading from me and Char they stopped. I thought the rest of the night would perhaps be peaceful, but Char got upset and headed out to the beach. Well by this time I had healed Neo twice more because he tried to heal Morte again and re-opened his own wounds. I was weaker than I ever would have let anybody know, but I went out to find Char anyway. We spoke for a short time and when we returned, Eyas was fighting with Khal's brother Demas...
I could barely believe it, we all stepped in front of Eyas, (Char, neo and I) but it seems that he is just as stubborn as the rest of the men on this isle, so I stopped trying to help, my head was aching already and it was only making it worse to see Eyas in danger. I'm glad it stopped, I had to warn them that if there was indeed a fight, if somebody got hurt I would only be able to heal one person and if it were to be between Eyas and Demas, I would choose Eyas,I won't let my friends die. *sighs* I suppose all ended well for me though, I chose to ignore the battle that Char and Eyas were having wih each other although I could sense they were hurt by the tone of their voices, I know I had to leave them argue, it wasn't my place to step in. Attri came in very late, having returnd from a long walk he saidhe was on and he cheered me up, he stayed at the house again, in his own room of course, but I think soon I will order him some furniture with the money he gave me for rent so he can feel comfortable in his house. Not that I mind having him there, but his house is going to waste.
Well Journal, I must go back to work now, until we meet again.
