I proved to the world that friends to not exist. No one wants a friend. Everyone wants a leader or to be leader. Quarter of the time I only manipulated Alterio. The rest was just carried on by his wind.
The perfect candidate.. the perfect destruction to this isle. Truly, what is friendship?.. Nemesio right after Qko.. and they died because they believed in what they do and always had. No one can top that... not even this so called Ben guy who slay them both. He is the least of belief besides killing.
And what is this I see through the eyes of Alterio. Jane.. this lady that was once popular now distrusted by all. Vixen against her own. People suggesting to throw a child into the volcano's mouth..as if this little dream thing would work. Little they know of the things not seen. Of different realms in co-existent. I say Moonskyr is full of it.
They didn't see it coming, hell they still don't see it. This isn't about Alterio.. this is about themselves.. as for faith..there is none.
So now..they think they have progress by taking my puppet and hiding it. I still have my bonds.. I still have the control to control everyone's lives. I am the master.. I am the Prince. I am the ruler. To take that away from me, there is a price. Your dignity and faith..I own it...Alterio has the land, I have the people. One move..and I goad anyone to where I want them.

:::sighs, perched miserably in a tree outside of Tei's old Cove, keeping watch over the entrance where Alterio is held captive:::
How the hell do I manage to get myself into all of this?! Jas tells me when I finally show my face at the dome that my assistance is needed at the Cove. So, naturally, I go to find out what is happening, since Jas seemed reluctant to tell me. What do I happen to walk in on? Uncle Alterio, his face bagged, tied and bound. They had taken him captive. Now, Im in all of this, by going and thinking I was going to help someone. Instead...I get myself caught right in the middle of one really screwed up situation.
They should have gone to find the Dwarves...they wouldnt have needed to capture Uncle Alterio if they had done that.
I wouldnt be in this situation of continued hiding if that had been done first. I dont even WANT to be part of this. Im tired of hiding. The SSAG guards will be looking for him....naturally, after the whole ordeal with the decree of becoming a slave...Im suspect. Now, Im really suspect, having been there to see this. I should have stayed at the grotto. I shouldnt have even come out today.
:::holds her head in her hands as she tries to think of a way out of this:::
Im stuck here in this god forsaken tree watching a whole in a cave wall! How much more of this can I take before I snap? ::growls:: Forget it...Ill just wander around like I dont even know what's happened. Return to Taelie's grotto where its safe. Thank the Gods noone knows where it is. I NEVER wanted to do this... I didnt want to have Uncle Alterio captured and held like a prisoner. ALL I wanted was for him to return to normal, to his old self again.
:::sighs long and softly, drawn out:::
Everyone is either at each others throats, or they dont trust anyone anymore. I can believe the way things have gone. Nothing has changed for me really...those who were my friends, still are. Regardless. I would still do anything to help them...but This...has gone just a little too far!
By All The Gods I NEVER wanted to be wrapped up in something like this. All I can do now, is pray the Gods forgive me, and smile upon me, letting me make it out of this unscathed...and hopefully, everyone else as well.
:::shakes her head softly:::
Im done with this...if the guards take me to jail...then I just go. I will deal with that until things become normal again...if I survive it that long. I dont want anything else to do with all of this scheming and plotting...NO MORE! I wash my hands of everything. I am just going back to being who I was...what Ive always been.

"takes her turn to watch after sneaking off to talk to her source, telling only lyrias, she shakes her head thinking of what she was told...quietly writes it down..well part of it in case the journal is found before we accomplish this"
I know where the guards are being held."she stops and thinks and decides to not write down the location.. they will be told when the time comes"
I found out the dwarfs do not know where the guards are... their only part in this was to capture the guards and turn them over to the drow. "sighs shaking her head " We may have to find them to help us, however and its gonna cost us..Luckily the source knows where they are.."decides to keep the rest of what she learned to herself til the time is right to act on it""""
"she glances around seeing nothing, she goes back to writing"
We should never have grabbed Alterio. But everyone in Dome was for it..That was a bad move. I just want him back to normal. I should not have gone along with them. But every time i stand up for Alterio, it seems I end up with everyone against me. I admit the stress Ive been under lately with all this, I wasnt thinking to straight.
Everything went wrong last night. "shakes her head sighing as she thinks" Im not proud of what i had to do to get this information But it was the only way..Funny what men will tell you , when asked questions at the just the right time. But I had to do something. Should have thought of doing it before...we would have had this ended by now. We WILL get Alterio back. And things will be back to normal.

::Sits at the window seat in her room her diary open on her lap she stares out to sea.... She turns to a blank page and begins to write::
I can not believe he is gone !! The one man I have given my heart to and now he is gone. Lord Neo came into the dome last eve and told me of news that Fierjen has been murdered..
--begins to cry softly before taking up her wrighting once more as tears fall down her cheeks--
My Master and Lady Mags gone and now Fierjen I have no one. I can not let the others see my pain I will go on as if nothing has happened at least before the others . No one will know my pain and no one will ever hold my heart again Never. If my master choosed to pick a companion for me or a mate when he returns I will do as I am told but never will I allow my heart to be given to anyone.
I should have known better I am a slave I should never have let my feelings show it was wrong I will not let it happen again.
And now Sir Carazzi has been kidnapped and I fear it is because I started the ball rolling with my suggestions Oh why did I interfear I had no right to speak out my loose tongue will be the death of me some day..
Now many of my friends are in danger if they are found out to be involved in this mess...

*the young girl sits alone upon her bed, staring off into the distance with a lost, utterly empty look in her grey-violet eyes. She drags her eyes over to the other side of the room, where Felina is humming to herself while dusting. She slowly, almost reluctantly dips her quill in ink, and puts quill to page*
Dear Diary,
Where is Father? I have not seen him, and no one will tell me a single thing. Something has gone terribly wrong. I stay off by myself because I can't bear to be among the others. The only soul I see anymore is Felina, and even her presence makes me wish I could burst into tears. But I mustn't.
Paul is troubled, and does not speak much to me. He is upset about Father becoming Prince. Or is it King now? I haven't the faintest idea what is going on, but Father was not himself. He frightens me now. He's turned into something ugly, and I'm so afraid. He's all I had. Thirlia lives, if you could call it that, in a shroud of darkness.
I fear her sense of doom as much as I fear the changes in Father. Jane doesn't come anymore. Not since awhile before we came to the Coconut Grove. And Lady Vixen wears a collar. What has happened? I don't know.
Felina is in a more cheerful mood of late. She sits with me and tells me not to worry. She hums often, and does her work happily. When I ask her what is happening, she simply shakes her head and says I mustn't concern myself. When I asked where Father was, she admitted she didn't know, and then went on about how a responsible father should never just run off on his children.
What shall I do if Father doesn't return? The idea is too much to think of. Will Felina and I have to run off? I must stop now, before she sees that I'm upset. She will surely turn into into an argument about why I must leave. Perhaps I shall look for Father today.
Sincerely,
Mairin Carazzi
*she closes the book as Felina comes over and offers to brush out her hair, all the while speaking of a great life the two of them could have*

:::sighs softly as she sits outside the grotto:::
I hope Ben doesnt think I am deserting him. Im not. I just cant do this. I had NO intention of doing this. True, I want Uncle Alterio back, and normal again, and I would have done anything to have it so. But, I would never have forced him to live like a prisoner. NEVER. I remember too well what its like to be a prisoner. I could barely stand myself, much less the one who had captured me. At least he isnt being tortured.
:::sighs again, dipping her quill:::
I cant even go and check on Lia. I cant go and see if the children are all safe. I cant believe this situation. Im stuck again all alone at the grotto. I hate feeling so trapped!
:::thinks about what Vixen told her:::
Hopefully, it wont take long to accomplish this. I pray it doesnt. Once it is over, it will be so much easier for everyone. And maybe then I can come out of hiding again. Maybe we all can. I wonder if it is wise for me to even attempt talking to the dwarves. I know how much they hate elves. I dont see that I have a choice, however. It has to be done, for everything to return to normal, it has to be done. I pray everyone lives through this to see the good times again.
