*Returns to her room after having one to many goblets of Elven Wine, plops down on the bed, takes her journal from the spot under her pillow and begins to write*
Dear Journal,
From the short time that I have been staying on this isle I have come to believe that this is a place where I would like to plant my roots. I am not only attracted to the islands beautiful landscapes but its inhabitants are for the most part a pleasent group, some of which I would like to know better. This eve I spent a nice evening at the dome and it is hard for me to believe everything that has happened today. When I first got to the dome I was surprisingly given a pick up line from Sir Carazzi, due to some confusion I was not able to respond but I am told he is a flirt, I don't like to always take other people's opinions to heart though, I suppose I will see. Later this eve, I found the dome empty nae for M'lord Halfdan. We had an entriguing conversation about himself and the lady Mags.
He offered me a guard and I went out to take a quick walk, it was most lovely, I would have wished to walk alone but the fear of Sharken is still very real and I don't want to take any chances. When I returned from my walk I found the dome buzzing with life. My new friend Lady Char was there as well as M'lord Halfdan with Jasmin and we were soon joined by Crystal mother and Mags. Unbelievably Mags was wearing a dress and even more surprising she invited the Lady Charquin and I over to there table to share her chocolates. She was in such good spirits this evening and I believe that we all have forgotten of the activties that went on yesterday. I suppose though journal that the most exciting thing of the night was from Lady Char herself. She told Mags and I and whomever seemed to be around who she is looking for. Lady Char has a twin sister! That is so very exciting, her twin's name is Anastasia or Anna and get this, she doesn't even know that Char exsists. Even more she is the rightful ruler of a place on the mainlad. Twas an action packed evening and now because I have had to many glasses of wine and too littl sleep I will end this here.

* settles down on his couch, and scribbles out a small journal entry in his usual fashion, with a charcoal pencil *
I am so tired of this. Everyone seems to enjoy me around, when I am playing the village idiot, but when it comes to anything serious, they do not seem to hear my voice. Glad to know I am insignificant and unworthy to even concider. I snapped at my sister today, I didn't mean it, but I am tired of everything. Only good constant I do have is my dear Casi who keeps me inline most of the time. But it always seems, that I am not worthy to speak to unless its for some stupid limrick or annoying ass tavern song that people can drink to. I think I am through with the village idiot role. No longer can I abide it. I have more knowledge on a vast amount of things than most can even contemplate but alas, that never matters. So a Bard to most is just some idiot who can carry a tune, and not be an advisor, a keeper of lore and history, a tactician nor a keeper of law. Just some bumbling idiot. Glad to know people are so near sighted.
*sighs to himself and shuts his journal, heading back to bed with Casi, just needing her close tonight. *

*lights the lamp, and slowly gets up to wash her face at the basin, not being able to sleep much, and reaches for her bedside journal*
I really know not what i am doing here, for over 2 weeks now i have relentlessely searched for Anna, to no avail. I grow more weary with the search each day.
Tis morning now, and although early, i am up and about, preparing for yet another day of searching the Isle for a sister who may or may not be here, who does nae even know of my existance!
I am learning more and more of the lands here, at least that much good has come of my search, I believe i shall check out the shops today, I still am a woman, and do love to shop.
Last Eve at the dome, i encountered Rosalyn again, she is such a kind soul, i do enjoy her company *pauses and opens her door to her room, glancing down the hall towards Ros's room* I wonder if she is up yet...anyway, as the night wore on, and once again i found myself slightly intoxicated with wine, I again began my ramblings of Anna, This time i spoke it All!!! Oh, gods be with me, but i did, i told several of those present of my quest for her, that she was my sister, and our whole life story, well almost the whole thing.
I do believe now that Rosalyn, Mags, Lord Halfdan, and Mother all know of my quest in detail, nae to mention those who were about and overheard my story. *pauses, tapping her quill to her lips in thought* I do believe lyrias was about there somewhere as well, I need to speak with her more, as i feel there is much to her that i nae know of yet, mayhap she could help me, she was after all one of the first people i spoke with upon comming to the dome, and she was ever so kind.....
Anyway, i feel now that even though i had wished to keep Anna a secret, that perhaps i have a better chance of locating her, with more eyes present. oh, heavens do you think that mayhap she will take one look at me and see the resemblence? Or will i have to try and prove our relation? If so however would I do this, i have been living with an adoptive family all my life, and have nothing, absolutley nothing to show that is tangible, that could prove to her i am her twin.
Alas I am getting ahead of myself, first i must find her, if she is even here.
Mayhap i should go and see if Rosalyn has awakened, staying in the same Inn as she has its benifits, I do find myself enjoying her company, and she has a quest much like my own, something personal. I wish i could help her with this, but alas, i do know that some things only come with time, and keeping them private sometimes is all a person has to hold on to. In the meantime, i shall endevor to be her friend, and companion, and perhaps she will soon trust me with her quest. I do hope she stays here, her company has been invaluable to me at my greatest times of need.
*replaces her quill, and dresses for the day, quite used to picking out her own gowns by now. Humming a soft tune, she heads down the hall to Rosalyns room, thinking that exploring the shops today just may be in order*......

*paces for a few moments, looking down at his hands, before finally sitting down and setting quill to parchment. He writies in quick, furious strokes of the quill..*
These hands, these hands I write with upon this parchment, these fair, Bard's hands, have not held a weapon in anger for two centuries. Not till tonight. I had my first encounter with the Sharken...horrible, vile abominations. A kick of sand in the face of Life and Nature. Other patrons of the 'dome, dwellers hereon of the isle, they were already embroiled whence I arrived. I loosed an arrow, and struck one....another combatant, Val, later caused this one, who was quilled with the arows a few, to combust....a terrible sight, and oh, the shrieking...I loosed at the other as it retreated, but I believe I missed...it dove, and must have escaped. Gods, but I'm so shaken...my hands...*the Elf stops writing for some time, waiting for the shaking and trembling of his hands to cease. When they finally lessen, at least, in their shaking, he starts to write once more*
I'm glad Ara wasn't present for such....I've no idea what would have happened to my love, my Goddess, a rún...I thank the Gods I didn't have to find out, and pray I never shall...
I miss her so, but...her safety is of deepest concern to me. Nought shall harm her in my recense, not whilst I breathe...I apologize, my pachment friend, though you'll never be able to accept it *his writing becoming progressivly harder to read as the shaking returns* I can no longer write, I fear..
Sylverleaf *written with non of the usual flourish, but instead, quite shaky, the worst of the writing, in fact.*

:::sighs as she sits in the dome, drawing out her tattered journal, and begins to write:::
I donna knae wha tae think anymore. Laddie twas angry with me last eve..then again taeday. It seems tha I always anger 'im. Per'aps I should jus return tae m'ermetic ways...remain inside m'ome, and nae come out unless I need tae. Tha way I canna make anyone else angry. Jus when I think tha Laddie and I are getting closer again...something 'appens.
:::thinks about Benjamin:::
I spent the eve with Benjamin last eve, at the Idiot, watching 'im tinker with the toys. Tis interesting tae see 'ow the toys are made. 'e seemed worried about boring me with the visit. Twas nae a bore...I enjoyed being away from e'eryone again, and 'aving some quiet time.
I donna knae wha I am going tae do. Per'aps Da will 'elp me, and guide me like 'e used tae.

Dear Journal,
Quite the night at the Pleasuredome tonight. Our first encounter with the Sharken, at least around this time.
Well, at the very least, MY first encounter with the Sharken. Never have I seen anything so big, so ferocious, so evil. The situation was quite tense at first...Jasmin had gone to get them some steaks to feed them, hoping they would go away after being satisfied. Our prediction was wrong, and they started to attack. All of us fought our hardest, and prevailed, even though it was only two of them...and the smaller ones as I was told. We mainly concentrated on one of them. After taking three arrows and a few blows, I got the lucky death blow when I blasted it right in the face with some conjured fire. The other one then ran back to the waters, seeing his friend perish. However, this was not the most frightening part of the eve.
Once again, I lost myself during battle. I was in something of a bloodlust...if there had been more of these creatures, I would have fought them until they or I was dead.
Especially when I saw my beloved Vixen wounded from one...it set me off. I only saw red, and my arms weaved the magic almost on their own. Someday, this condition will surely get me killed...
After that, everything became a little calmer. Alterio came in, and for some reason had a fixation on the size of his phallus. Funny, no matter what he tried...he just couldn't beat mine. Funny.
Then, another conflict broke out. Lyrias told Alterio she was planning on marrying. The man she wanted to wed I did not know of, but Alterio seemed visibly disturbed afterwards. He berated her, then Lyrias' mother stepped in. She struck one of Alterio's guards, then tried to strike Alterio himself! Alterio then stabbed her...lightly, but he did the deed. Then everything turned into chaos...thankfully, no more blows were dealt, at least any of consequence. This is the same mindless crap that plunged my past nation into civil war...I'll be damned if it happens here too.
After the fight, Alterio gave me a gift...this Brat Stick. I wasn't sure what to do with it, and I jokingly brandished it. And a few women took notice and were actually visibly scared of it. This could prove useful...but I try to avoid hitting women...unless they're whores...ugh.
Ah well, I guess that's all. I'll see you tomorrow, as always, Journal.

:::sits at the dome, thinking, as she drags out her journal, and begins to write::::
By Khlamar...I knew Uncle Alterio would be angry when I told him that Taelie and I are going to marry...but, I never expected this. I never expected him to blow up as he has. :::Sighs::: I have...nor had any intentions of leaving Lia. I would never abandon the child. Though, now I am faced with the choice of the child, or the man I love. For it seems, I cannot have both. I swore to never leave Lia, and I have no intentions of doing such, but, I cannot be with Lia, and be married to Taelie. Uncle Alterio will not allow that to happen. What am I going to do? Leave Taelie....or not be able to spend time with Lia?
I am a liar? I am no liar. I am dead to him? Fine, I am dead to him. I suppose he never cared as much as he always professed to. I've loved my Uncle unconditionally, through everything, even through his nearly condemning me to become a slave. Even through everything the last time, when he would not speak to me. But....now.....I am dead to him...so, I suppose it does not matter. The only way to make amends is to leave Taelie...and I dont want to do that. I love Taelie. But, I dont want to lose Lia.
What am I going to do? Why must he lash out at me so, just because he doesnt like Taelie? I have not taken advantage of him...he didnt even give me the chance to answer when he asked me, just had the guards come and get my belongings, and move them to the Manor.
::shakes her head as she thinks on everyone else getting involved::
Mother got involved...then everyone else did. Why couldnt they all just leave it alone, like I asked them all to? Why wouldnt they listen to me? It is because of this that he is partly so angry with me. It all resulted in such a brawl. If everyone had listened they could have avoided so much. The discussion was between he, and I, not he, I, and them.
:::swipes at her eyes again, as she can still hear her Uncle's voice ringing in her ears..."You are dead to me"....:::
I love him so much...other than Ben...he is the only Family I have. And now, I dont have him. He has made me angry before, aggrivated me, even ridiculed me. But, he has never scored my heart so deeply as he has this time. He has never hurt me this badly. I trusted him....in my own stupid, child-like innocence, I trusted that like the Uncle I loved...he would never hurt me.
I can either have Taelie.....or my Family. I dont know that I can choose between the two. Why should i have to chose between the two?
I dont know...my head hurts...
