Home at last!! It is good to be back on the Isle. I know everyone is wondering where I have been since Mags, halfdan and I parted company on dan's boat. I had planned to fly straight back to Crystal Shores, but alas it was not to be.

A sudden storm came upon me and blew me of course. After fighting my way through the storm for hours, when the storm finally released me I had no idea where I was, but knew I need to land to rest my weary body. The Gods must have been favoring me for there was a tiny Isle just below me. So I landed on what was to my amazement a very beautiful place although it is only about half the size of home it had white sanded beaches and a dense forest and luckily a fresh water pond in the middle of it. As I said the Gods must have take favor with me this day for I was not alone on this Islet..... It had dozens and dozens of beautiful nekkid women on it and upon seeing my Fae wings they took me for a God...Of course I told them I wasn't....eventually that is. Anyways lets just say Although my wings got the much needed rest the rest of me definitely didn't. I stayed there until I was fully recovered from the storm and had a rough idea where I was in comparison to Crystal Shores I would have stayed even Longer, but I swear it doesnt matter if a woman is a noblewoman or a nekkid island savage they always try to get you to marry them and I mean all of them....Now how am I going to Marry over 100 women..I'm good but not that good. So when a few of them started to come up pregnant I knew I was in trouble and then when the fighting broke out I just flew off into the night. You know I still don't know where all the men of the Islet disappeared too! Well that night I just kept on flying...my Navigational calculations weren't as correct as I thought so it took me another couple of weeks and a few stays on isles that were nothing more than a bunch of rocks and tree before I found my way back home but I made it.

It sure seems different being back home....maybe its just because all the women are wearing clothes hehehe.... and there are a lot of new people here now but I'm sure I will be bedding all the women in no time and dualing all the men into submission even sooner HAHAHA Speaking of women I see that Vixen wasted no time in finding a new boyfriend in my absence aww well her lose ....and beside I'm sure she will come back to me soon enough after all she is with that want to be mage Val something erother and even if she doesn't I can always fill my evening seducing other women ...like that Lady Charquin she seems interesting ...although I can see through her prim and proper guise and see the real wonton woman hiding there... well I guess thats it for today time to seek out my friend Jhereg and see how things are going for him and see how my businesses have been going in my absence.

::His period of self-imposed exile and mourning over, he awakens with a newfound sense of strength and a desire to tie up all that's gone undone since he bowed out of society. Pulling his journal out of the drawer, he puts it to his left, and his stationery at his right. And alternates between writing to himself and others::

I see my slave has been imprisoned. Several days by another is far too much. FAR too much. Until I get the full details on how this occurred, I will just have him, simply, released. Everything has its price, particularly since the SSAG prison truly isn't big enough to hold a dragon for long.

And when Dracored arrives home and eats properly, he will tell me who did this. And simply, the person who did will find themself on the receiving end of my anger.

No more f*cking around on my time.

Once again I waited at dome last night and Val never showed up. It seems Char was looking for him all evening as well. And the night before that, he and Nun acted like I was a possession. I am not property to be owned. I am not a possession. They fought and argued over me like I wasnt even present. But yet the night before they -both- took Char home? What is with that? Im not sleeping with either of them...maybe Char is hmmm? Sinister told me last night that Val is cheating with someone. He didnt say who though. Could be the fine well-bred Lady Charquin? Anyways, you can put silk and satin on any whore and they are still a whore. It doesnt change what they are....

"she looks around the room she is staying in at the Manor and goes to the window...she looks out over the estate as she sits down at the desk and pulls her journal to her"

It has been pretty quiet here the last few days. Alterio, finally, came from his study last night and left the manor for a while. He was'nt gone long however. I heard him returning after a short while and back to his study. The children are even quieter than I remember them being. They have'nt been told anything of Ali but it seems they can sense something is wrong.

I need to talk to Alterio soon as he is up to it. I would like to take over running the Baby Boutique if he will allow me to. I need something to do with my time. And I have to earn my keep. I can nae ask him for money for things that I need. Not that I need much. He has given me a place to live and I appreciate that.

I have walked around the estate and gardens some the last couple days. The gardens are really beautiful. I heard a rumor that the gardener was killed by dragon that Alterio owns. He will soon have to hire a new one before the weeds take over the gardens.

I usually dont leave my room unless I'm called for meals or if I decide to go for a walk or to the Dome for a while. I visited the Bazaar yesterday again. Those shops sell some very lovely things. The clothing and jewelry...I left most of my things on the mainland as I left there rather quickly and had nae time to pack my things. I only brought a few clothing items. My jewelry, well its probably been stolen by now. Oh well, I have no plans on going back to the mainland anyways.

Tis all for now, I think I shall go for a walk.

*she wipes at her eyes, shivering in a small huddle in the middle of her bed. She plucks up her diary with restless fingers, letting her anguished thoughts seep out into words on the page*

Dear Diary,

I made an enormous mistake. I don't know what I can do to rectify it. I must not argue with Father, certainly. But he says he shall have Uncle Benjamin arrested, and that I mustn't ever see him again, all because of my errors. Uncle Benjamin will surely never forgive me. What would Father do if he knew I had snuck away last night wth no escort at all, as well? I do so pray that Aunt Lyrias keeps her promise and doesn't tell. How can Father believe that Uncle Benjamin harmed me? Oh, how do I fix this? I'm absolutely sick over it. Uncle Benjamin just can't go to jail.

If only I could tell Father why I'd gone. But I mustn't gibber on about excuses. I was taught better than that. Would he even understand? It was just too much, all of them knocking, wanting me to come out, to eat...always the knocking, and the concern. I had to be left alone. And...I had to say goodbye to Paul. Father never would have let me go to the volcano. I thought, and thought, and the only person I could think to appeal to was Uncle Ben. I regret that decision now. I should have left things as they were.

Or I should have made sure Father heard my request. But he was in a hurry, and I felt as though I would scream if I was not allowed some solitude... Patience left me that day, and for that others must suffer. Oh, Uncle Ben, will you ever forgive me?

What a terrible soul am I. To have added to Father's distress...with Aunt Alianna. He is a good father, and lenient. He is only asking that I go to school now, and that I never see Uncle Ben again...and those poor guards.

*she bites her lip a little* I behaved terribly, I know. I lost my wits as I never should, and now the punishment is hardly fitting. I will not allow myself anymore stories, nor songbooks or poetry or games. I shall not sing or even hum, and I shall not partake in dessert. I shall be up every morning at dawn, and to bed early every eve, after an hour spent in silent prayer. This for at least a month. And forevermore I will not speak until spoken to, and shall be ever so quiet and obedient, never questioning or being contrary. And so it shall be. I broke a trust and must now mend my ways.

It causes me such guilt and dread to think of last night. Of how I left again in dead of night because of the heaviness and silence. And the endless questions in my mind. But I dared not utter a word of it, afraid Lyrias would become the target of his anger for not sending me home straight away, and that the guard she sent with me would die. Felina did not tell, either, though she saw me come back inside in wee hours of morning. I hope she does not. I could not bear Father's anger again. I'll be good now, I shall. I shall cause neither Father nor the Academy any distress from now on. I will be model in all of my endeavours.

Just please, Khlamar...perhaps let Father have a change of heart regarding Uncle Benjamin and the guards?

Remorsefully,
Mairin Carazzi
