Personality: Crystal is generally passive, carefree, optimistic, cheerful and would much rather play games and make-up stories than take her life seriously. One thing that she does take seriously, and it shows, is the value of friendship and the trust she puts in her friends (even in cases like when she first met Hao and he tried to kill her.) When things get difficult for her and her friends, Crystal usually says something like, "We'll figure this out. After all, anything is possible as long as we believe it is." Crystal also follows the philosophy that all people have some good in them, although sometimes it's hard to find it, a point which has troubled her in regards to Hex who claims to be pure evil. Occupation(s): Shaman, Elemental User, Student Personal History Key Events: Before Summer 1996--Crystal had a strong connection to the spiritual world from a young age, although she herself was not aware of it until later on when it actually became apparent that her version of make believe was different from that of other children. She was a good student, but wasn't particularly well-liked among those her own age and took to spending her time with those a year or two younger than herself, playing games and telling stories. She and some of her friends experimented with classic witch craft, mostly healing charms, the "light as a feather, stiff as a board" game, and periodically attempting to manipulate the weather. She studied martial arts for six years between second and seventh grade, and although she might not have possessed a great deal of physical strength, her speed and strategic actions more or less made up for it. Wooden Katana: A prop for Halloween painted to look something like the real thing, but not all that impressive. The important thing is that it is light weight and easy to handle. Plastic Sword: Another prop for Halloween that is actually much more durable than it looks. The blade is a dull gray while the hilt is black. Again it is light weight and easy to handle. Plastic Staff: Another prop weapon that is considerably harder than it looks, meaning that anyone hit with it would probably find it painful. It is still light weight and easy to handle. Dragon Dagger: A decorative dagger with a hilt in the shape of a dragon's head and neck with a wickedly curved blade.
