Forever (or not) - "Jiraiya/Tsunade - “destiny”"



He loves her, despite and for all her faults and he knows that deep down inside, behind the guilt and the shame and the agony and the mourning and the numbness, she loves him too.

He can’t even be jealous of Dan, of her younger brother for having that part of her heart because without them, she wouldn’t be who she is now. Besides, there’s something about having animosity towards the dead that just feels wrong.

He’s just thankful that she is not one of the people he loves that is on his long list of “dead and buried.”

Yet.
