“Stop pouting!” Toph snapped, annoyed.

Sokka frowned. He most definitely was not pouting. Sokka did not pout.

“What did I just say?” Toph demanded.

Sokka scowled at her. “How can it bother you?” he complained, “You can’t even see me!”

“Your sighing gives you away,” Toph muttered, and then added on vindictively, “It’s strange how all that sighing still hasn’t managed to deflate any of the air in your head.”

Sokka’s only response was a rather chagrined feeling silence. He also let out a pathetic sound that sounded like a whimper.

Toph exhaled sharply, annoyed with the sudden feeling of guilt. “That isn’t what I meant,” she grumbled, “Sorry.”

Sokka sniffled pitifully.

“I said I was sorry!” Toph exclaimed, alarmed, “Don’t be so touchy- oomph.” She was cut off as Sokka suddenly hugged her tightly. “Hey.”

“So you still love me?” Sokka asked, sounding gleeful.

“Yes.” Sigh. “Who knows why…”
