| I started out with plastic coated closet shelving. I cut them to the size that I wanted. I then bought one of those under the bed plastic boxes with cover. I then made a wood base for the plastic box to fit in. I put wheels on the wood base so the cage would be mobile.Then with tie wraps, I tied the shelf pieces together and fitted them into the plastic box. I then attached the plastic cover to the top of the shelves to form a roof,with tie wraps. I then cut and used an old skylight for levels inside the cage. But you could use plexi glass for this.After that I added ladders to get to each level. And added toys and nest boxes and hammocks, for fun and comfort. |
