Our Homemade Rat Treat
We use this mix to give individual rats meds, crushed or squeezed into it.
I usually mix this until it is firm but pliable, so amounts are approximate.

1/4 cup peanut butter
6 tablespoons powdwered milk
5 tablespoons wheat germ
can also use brown sugar or honey.
Store in baggy in the refrigerator.

Use this in small amounts, just enough to hold the crushed meds or mixed with a small amount of liquid meds. Also make sure you have plenty to go around so that cagemates are not left out.

note: you probally do not want to use this with meds that should not be mixed with dairy products. use straight wheat germ and a small amount of brown sugar for taste.

Decorations

3. thread them onto the cotton, alternating to make it colorful and interesting.
