| Wedding Plans 8/16/02 Just wanted to point out the fact that I added a link to the website of the conference center the reception will be held at. It makes it look like I did a real update that way. 8/3/02 Okay, no one can accuse me of frequent updates. But here is the latest. We are no longer getting married in november for various reasons, the date has been pushed back to May 4th so far. But I'll keep the same counter for nostalgia reasons. Or cause I'm lazy. Who knows. 10/27/01 Nothing new, was updating the page all over, so I decided to just toss in a few words here. We picked our colors, Deep reds, cream and gold. Should be pretty. 10/18/01 We've chosen our day, picked a hall and put a payment on it. It's not the day we first wanted (Dec.6,2002) but November 15, 2002. The ballroom I reserved is beautiful, the co-ordinaters friendly and kind. I recomend anyone looking to get married in the Saginaw area chose the Horizon Conference Center. 10/5/00 Well, we finally decided on a day, only to find out that the reception hall we wanted was booked that day. Already. THen all of our alternate days were taken as well. So, hopefully, if I can get down to Lansing and book the reception room for the last available time spot before someone else gets it (or when someone will actually be there so I can reserve it :P) Our concrete date is now Friday December 6th, 2002. ~~~~~~~~~~ So far our wedding plans are in the initial stages. We have been looking at favors, discussing dresses, colors, guest lists, and all of the usual stuff. I think we have it narrowed down to a month now, December of 2003. That gives us over 2 years to plan everything to perfection. Of course, I wouldn't mind an earlier date, but we want a winter wedding, and 2002 has already been taken by another family member. |
