| Secret fairy name: Mairalis (mir-a-leesh) Known name: Maira (Mir-a) Age: older then a mortal man but younger then the gods. 122 years to be exact. Height: 4 inches in her fairie form Hair: long blonde Eyes: deep blue She has a long pixie looking face with a tanned complexion. She has a slender build and is muscular in a feminine way. She is not overly muscular. She is a mountain fairie. She likes being close to nature and the woodland creatures. She usually dresses in greens with a long hooded cape, a pouch for her knife and potions. The knife is made of moonstone. Her bow is cedar for strength and arrows of willow for flight, that is straight and true.) But she has been known to were a dress of another color when she wants to impress or to fairy parties. After all fairies are fond of their music and dance. Like all faeries, she is intelligent and has a great since of humor. This is the prankster side of her nature. She has been a solitary faerie since she left her family (consisting of her father, Garbhan (GAR-vawn), her mother, Eilis (IE-leesh) and brother, Tighearnin (TEER-nawn)) in Ireland after her lover (Cian (KEE-an) took another, Since that time Maira has traveled to many horizons. She is currently in the USA, in the mountains around Colorado Springs, Colorado. She can be located anywhere). However, she does associate with other faeries when she runs into them and has associated with a few humans in her many years. Her greatest source of strength is the memories of her family and their life together, which she hasn’t seen in many years. Her greatest source of weakness is the memory of her lost love. She is usually an optimist but like all, she also has her down days. |

| She’ll choose you when the time is right - you don't choose her. But she’ll first need to know that she can trust you before she’ll show herself to you. She usually hides from most humans as a matter of survival. Many have seen her as a protector, helper, and sometimes a mischievous prankster! She is good at the art of illusion to confuse and misdirect people. She has the power of invisibility through the power of glamour (shields others from seeing her but it does wear off after a while) and she like most faeries can shape shift. She can shift into most forms but her favorites are birds. She is endowed with the powers of magic, comprising mostly of using potions to heal a friend, hide others from an enemy, put the enemy to sleep but unfortunately not all of them, and those that enchant. She is far from perfect. Her magic can only do so much. If the victim is to far gone her healing potions can only serve to ease the pain. Most of the sleeping, hiding, and enchantment potions only last for minutes up to 4 hours unless more is administered. Depending on the subject they may last a little longer then the initial time. It also depends on the potion administered and the strength. As far as true magic goes. It only works on her, such as shape shifting and glamour. |
