Crystal Winds is a 40 acre ranch about 35 minutes north of the Twin Cities- Minneapolis and St.Paul in Minnesota. We are a small kennel of Australian Shepherds, with all dogs living with us in our home as family members. We compete in AKC, ASCA, UKC, and CKC, in conformation and starting to compete in herding , agility and obedience. We compete in MN, WI, ND, SD, IA, IL, MO, IN and many other states and Canada. We are members of The Australian Shepherd Club of America , The United States Australian Shepherd Association, The Upper Midwest Australian Shepherd Club and On the Horizon Australian Shepherd Club.
Our Australian Shepherds are fed a raw all natural diet consisting of raw meaty bones and a meal of muscle meat, eggs and supplements. We have fed this way since January 2000. We do minimal vaccinations. We are breeders of fine Australian Shepherds. We have puppies available occasionally. All our breeding animals are OFA'd and Eyes are cleared yearly with most of the animals used in our breeding program CHIC certified (Canine Health Information Center that requires registered passing gradings in OFA Hips, Elbows and CERF registered Eyes). Temperaments and genetic health are of the utmost importance to us as well as striving to produce that perfect dog that our breed standard calls for.
