6.         INSPECTION AND REGISTRATION OF CARS.

Each car must be registered by the Scout who built the car and must pass inspection by the inspection team before it may be entered in the race.
All entrants must first check-in with the race officials and have their cars inspected, measured, and weighed.  Cars that do not pass inspection shall be returned to the entrant. The entrant may make corrective action to meet the specifications, but must do prior to commencing the competition.
The inspection team has the right to disqualify cars that do not meet the criteria outlined in the race rules.  The fact that a car passed inspection from the Pack competition does not guarantee that it will pass for the District competition.
Entrants whose cars have passed the inspection and weigh-in will be registered for the race and the car shall be turned over to the race committee officials.  Thereafter, no one except the race committee
Official shall be allowed to handle cars until after the conclusion of the competition.  When a car suffers a mechanical problem and a repair can be accomplished, then and only then will an exception be made.
The Race Chairman will be the final judge of these rules.  The decision of the Race Chairman will be final.
Un-sportsmanship conduct by any entrant or member of the audience will be grounds for expulsion from the competition and/or the race area.
