The Great CSB Tournament did not end exactly as planned. I'll explain why. The twelve teams were reduced to three, and round three was starting. Some talk of the tournament rules was overheard by an administrator. Asked is there was money involved in the tournament, one of the players admitted that there was a small entrance fee. This seemingly harmless situation instantly inflated into a serious problem, and every last dollar was refunded to the players by a command from the administrator. The three teams that remained at the time were those of Edward and James, Brandon and Anthony, and Andy and Jeff. Because the teams were primarily participating in the tournament for the money, their incentive to continue playing was gone. All three teams quit the tournament. Although a single team never won the tournament, the three remaining were declared the "winners". | ||||
