The World Wide Web or simply the Web is an Internet service accessible thru a web browser that allow users to view any hypertext document on the Internet. Hypertext documents usually contain links that allow retrieval of other hypertext documents that can be located in different parts of the world.
Examples:
The Internet make information sharing a reality. With millions of computers all around the glob connected together, end-users are no longer bound by the surface of the desk. Now they can reach past the desk and link with computers to share data, programs, and information. The Internet and the Web are considered by many to be the two most important technologies for the 21th century.
