Applications at the University of Illinois.
Is a popular and influential Web browser. Navigator was the first commercial Web browser. It is developed by Netscape- a young company founded in 1994 by some of the developers of Mosaic. The interface for this browser is shown below.
Microsoft was late entering the browsers market. However its aggressive marketing approach and good design strategy make Internet Explorer (IE for short) a real competitor.
