| The Pendolino troubles: According the latest news the EMU creates to much harmonics which can influence the Track Circuits. To solve the problem the intial operation of the new units has been delayed by another 2 month. The approximated start is middle of summer 2004, the regular servis is stated from September 2004 |
| The Pendolino troubles: 2 (Sept. 2004) The pendolino will not start with public service before December 2004 when ever (the general opinion of Czech papers). Novadays CD provides diverse test runs on main lines around Prague and Brno. During the test runs the standard traffic is completely stopped causing diverse delays. |
| The Pendolino troubles: 3 (Nov. 2004) The pendolino made the first high speed run between Brno and Breclav. The new CD record is 237 km/h. An another unit started a regular service around Prague as replacement of the normal train to achive the required 50 000 km run with passangers. This unit runs at normal speeds up to 120 km/h and with dissabled tilting. |
