NAYER'S NOTES
One More Soul Got Safe
Site Tour
CompUrest and Ergonomics Made Simple are about the CompUrest, (U.S. Patent No. 5,188,321) solution to computer injuries.
I had every computer injury in the book in the 1980's. I put my feet up and placed support where there was stress when I was computing with a CompUrest. By using CompUrest, my injuries healed themselves within 30 days.
I've used CompUrest for the past 12 years to keep my extensive computer injuries away. I've typed as fast as 119 w.p.m. in my 25 years on computers. This patented keyboard stand is a real "Godsend" that replaces stress with support. Remove the cause, the stress, the effect, the injury heals.
Free Computer Training and How To Bridge The Digital Divide are the material I wrote and used to train over 3,000 in Harlem, NY (with a lot of help from family, friends and the Lord) how to use a computer. As an avid computer user since 1977, training is second nature to me.
How To Bridge The Digital Divide is my proposal for how to computerize a community. Simple issues like illiteracy can be solved via computer use.
Harlem Environment and Pictures of Harlem's North River Sewer & Riverbank State Park is an honest look at some of Harlem's environmental problems and solutions, with a special focus on the large state park on top of an open sewer.
NYC - WTC Toxic Alert There were 50,000 PC's in the World Trade Center when it was hit on 9-11-01. Each PC has four lbs. of lead. That's 200,000 pounds of lead released into the air plus other toxins like benzene, asbestos, etc. And it's not wise to think that the air and water pollution stopped at the border of lower Manhattan. For more information check it out then speak out.
Cyber & Rasta Crowns are the first part of the computer clothes concept I've been working on. The caps, created by Sherwood and his mother, Edith "Peas" Akuna, are stylish, colorful and comfortable.
Sitting at a computer for long periods of time require comfortable clothing that looks as good on the streets as at the machine. Perfect for days when I don't have an hour to spend on my hair and make-up but still need to look good.
African American History - "Black People and Their Place In World History" by Dr. Leroy Vaughn is listed in the "Publishing" link. Dr. Vaughn's research about Black Wall Street and the five Black Presidents are real truth gems. It's a must read to know and understand African American History. Dr. Vaughn's book is out and available at Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and Atlas Books http://www.atlasbooks.com/marktplc/00759.htm.
Empowerment & Spirit A few evolutionary theories including HOW MOSES PARTED THE RED SEA, COMPUTERS, THE KEYS OUT OF BABYLON, and a couple of poems LOVING YOU DEAD OR ALIVE and THE TAPESTRY. Just a bit of original thought.

Slavery in any form is wrong. It is the responsibility of the free to share our freedom with the enslaved. Second hand information in the information age is the new slavery. If you have to go to another for your daily data, it will be old news by the time you get it, if you get it. So it's important for all to have access to safe, comfortable computerization and the skills to effectively use and share technology in the information age. In honor of the spirits and souls of the Underground Railroad, as long as folks need help getting computerized, my commitment and the commitment of the Computer Underground Railroad is to comfortably, safely and thoughtfully assist folks in the areas of education, ergonomics, environment and empowerment. The goal is to achieve a happy, healthy, creative, reverent and productive computerized world. Imagine the information we can share. I've been working on this for some time. I learned computers in the television networks in the 70's and on the streets of New York in the 80's and 90's. I hold a patent with my friend Bernie Hirschenson on an ergonomic device that got rid of my computer injuries within 30 days back in 1990. I've gratefully trained over 3,000 people in my homeland of Harlem how to use a computer between 1994-1998. As an environmentalist I've found, presented, posted and printed information of many urban health problems and proposed solutions. Empowerment is using the information of this age to solve problems. This was accomplished with a lot of help from the Lord, my friends and family. The table of brotherhood that Dr. King spoke about is a table with a computer on it and good people around it, sharing positive thoughts and coordinating actions. I've been at this table since 1977, and I recommend the profound freedom found here.

I've also listed some of the sites of some of the Computer Underground Railroad's conductors including Chef Ashbell's great food site www.foodstop.com, Neil London's mind expanding site www.ictv1.com and Linda Humes's storytelling site www.yaffaarts.org. Check out the downloads page for other recommended stops on the information super highway.
This is a site in development so check in from time to time for updates. I'm working on resuming computer training - this time over the web, helping people get comfortable on a computer with a CompUrest, cyber caps, correct the environmental problems affecting our world and, most importantly, honoring Spirit.
Put your feet up, get comfortable, preferably with someone you are growing with, and enjoy the web. There's freedom here too.
Happy computing.
I'm looking forward to your feedback nayer@compurest.com
