I am Chandra B. Gurung and I live in Nepal. I am working with straw since 1997. Before completing my college, I was a professional artist. In the meantime, I got a chance to observe a trade show and there purchased my first piece of straw art. After that I tried my own hand at it. Now I creat my straw art for sale and I have participated in many national exhibitions and an international exhibition in USA. I am the founding member of the Straw Art Association of Nepal (SAAN), member of National Association of Wheat Weavers (NAWW) and the California Wheat Weavers Guild (CWWG). I am going to teach at the NAWW convention in 2008 in Illinois.
