wurm say: So you can't trust anyone or anything you read, eh? Well, that
places you in a rather sticky situation, I'd say. You obviously trust your
own thoughts a great deal; although logically there is no sense in your
confidence in your own thoughts. If everybody else's thoughts are suspect,
why not your own as well? ... What's that? You say you trust the Buddha
and the early Buddhist scriptures? Then you do trust in something MORE
than just your own thoughts; at least to *some* extent. And that's as it
should be! So you say Buddhism gives your thoughts strength? You are
mistaken. Your thoughts are confused and contradictory, almost entirely
lacking in sense; and in good sense as well. Moreover, your thoughts often
lack cohesion, and perhaps even coherence. I would guess that you don't
really read much philosophy. If any . . . Correct me if I'm wrong. ...
You *do* diligently study the buddhist scriptures, don't you?
btw: Philosophy doesn't limit our thoughts (ie. unless you're doing it
wrong), it actually helps us to think *more* clearly, *more* rationally,
and just more *better* all around. It frees the imagination, and at the
same time gives it a voice with which to span space-time. So don't you
be dissin Sophia on my watch, kid!
