This is the state in Mexico where my family comes from. It is called Durango. I will try to find a better map. It is known for mining and ranching as well as agriculture.

This is Francisco (Pancho) Villa, Durango's most famous native son. He is a hero to many Mexicans for his bravery and hard work during the second Mexican Revolution. My great-grandfather fought in Villa's army. There are no extensive pages of Villa that I could find to post here, but I am still looking, and will post them as they come along.
