Brian Joseph Parker - Born April 12, 1973 -
Went to Heaven March 22, 2001

Baby Brian

Jim and I were married September 4, 1971. We were praying that God would bless our lives with children. On April 12, 1973, our first child, Brian Joseph Parker, was born at Miseracordia Hospital in The Bronx, NY, weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and oh how happy and proud his Dad, Jim, and I were. Brian was a very happy baby, and brought much love and joy into our lives.

This is a beautiful and loving gift for Angel Brian from my dear friend, Carol, mom to Angel Michael.

Grandma and Brian.

Brian and Tim

When Brian was 6 months old, we bought a house in Rockway, NJ, where we stayed for 26 years. Brian was a happy baby, and when he was about to turn 2 years old, our Tim was born on April 5, 1975. Brian was happy to have a little brother to play with, and he was delighted that he had a playmate to have fun with.

Brian and "Lady"

Brian's mom said that in this photo, with his blonde hair and smile, Brian reminds her of my Angel Christopher, how sweet of her to say...

Brian in high school.

Brian loved camping and the camping trips we took in our Pop-Up Camper. We camped many weekends during the summers in Camp Arrowhead in PA. We also went to New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Maine and Canada, and we visited St. Anne's Shrine, and also visited Prince Edward Isle, Canada, which was very beautiful. While we were there, Brian and Tim and their youngest brother Sean went with us on the Maid of the Mist Boat in Niagara Falls, Canada.

Brian loved riding his racing bike, he also enjoyed flying radio control planes with his Dad, until he began dating girls. And when Brian started high school, he was fascinated with Bruce Lee and karate. One of the teachers at his school taught him some karate, and he had a book and taught himself as well.

Brian loved sports. He was in the cross country track team, and the wrestling team. Brian also belonged to the swim team in Rockaway, and did some skateboarding with Tim, and he talked about going into the service after high school.

Brian loved his family, friends and those less fortunate than himself. He went into the Marines after graduating from Morris Hills High School in Rockaway, NJ. His Tour of Duty included going to Panama, Columbia, Ecuador and Peru, and his last Tour of Duty was in Okinawa, Japan. Brian was a full-time Marine for four years, and was inactive for two more years.

after four years of active duty as a Marine.

Brian kept company with the love of his life, Kristen, for eight years, and when he came out of the marines as a Corporal, became engaged, and was married to Kristen
on March 17, 2000.

Dad, Kristen, Brian, and Mom, at Brian and Kristen's wedding, March 17, 2000.

Brian was married in Irish kilts, as both sides of our family -- the Parkers, Raffertys and Kristen's side, the Collins -- had Irish Ancestory in it. They were married at a nuptial mass at St. Marys Church in Denville, NJ, Kristen's Parish. The wedding reception was beautiful and was held in the Glass Room of the Madison Hotel with more than 100 people, relatives and friends attending to celebrate Brian and Kristen's special day. His brothers, Tim and Sean, wore black tuxedos with green vests and green ties. They all looked so very handsome, and Jim and me were so very proud of them.

Brian and Kristen were only married one year on March 17, 2001, when on March 22, 2001, our Brian and Tim died in an auto accident when Brian was picking Tim up from a friend's house in PA. Tim lived with Brian and Kristen since they had bought a house in Belividere, NJ, as Jim and me had moved back here to Forest City, PA when Jim retired. Tim always said his roots were in NJ where he lived for so many years. Sean had stayed with us, and got a job here in PA. The lives of Jim, Sean, me and Kristen will never be the same, but thru faith in the Lord we believe that someday we will be reunited with Brian and Tim in Heaven, our true home.

The Broken Chain

We did not know that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you the day God called you home
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
but as GOD calls us one by one, the CHAIN will link again.

Maria's Tribute to Christopher

Andrew... Our Miracle, Our Angel

To Pat and ANGEL Brian

Oh my son, my ANGEL
Your Birthdays so close together
Your brother's, now yours
I have to deal with this forever

Forever to me is a lifetime
Or at least till the end of mine
When that time comes
That is my calling from GOD, my time

Mom don't talk like that
Dad and Sean still need you
Your time is up when GOD calls
Until then please don't be blue

Tim and I are ok
We are happy and fine
And we want that for you
Until it is your time

GOD will tell us when
We will be waiting at the Gates
Then you can be happy
So will we, we will wait
