On November 18th, 1998, I went to my local pet supply store to pick up some food for Daffney. While I was there, I took a peek at the P.A.W.S. adoption centre, and saw a sleeping cat, curled up in a ball. When she popped her head up, I instantly fell in love with her sweet face! A previous owner had surrendered this cat. Her name was Mitsu, a Himalayan cross, 14 months old, and unaltered. As a young adult, she weighed only 5lbs. 7oz., a far cry from her current 12lbs!

I was very pleased with how well Daffney got along with her.

They accepted each other almost instantly. The name Destiny came to mind, because she was definitely meant to be with us. Destiny is very affectionate and offers purrs, licks, and head butts to anyone she meets.
