I purchased Clare in 1995 as a pet, because I had always wanted a Dalmatian, She was my introduction to the Dalmatian Breed. Most breeders start out with an exceptional dog who makes them fall in love with the breed.
For me, Clare was that dog.
Although she never enjoyed the show ring, she enjoyed Obedience training and also easily attained her Endurance title.
She is the matriach of all the Dalhaven Dalmatians.
Her only litter was sired by Grand Ch Dalmeadow Brave Dancer ET and resulted in the following dogs: Aust Champion Dalhaven Strike A Pose ET
Australian Champion Dalhaven High Society ET,
Dalhaven Gypsy Rose ET & Dalhaven Super Model CD.
I am forever thankful that the first Dalmatian I ever owned is such a great dog and companion. |
