What is a
SPECIAL EVENT
in San Francisco and environs?
Thank you for asking:


It is not a Regularly-scheduled Event that
………recurs daily, weekly, monthly, etc.;
………………at a venue no farther than 80 miles from San Francisco's City Hall;
………………………and provides no fewer than two hours of
………………………and general Lead/Follow Social Dancing.

If you don't find your Regularly-scheduled Event listed on one of our calendars, please GOTO our “Sample Listing” (there's one on each calendar), prepare the information requested, then click here to send us your Regularly-scheduled Event's information without abbreviations.
………When you tell us that your completed listing is correct, we will add it to our composite calendar.

A SPECIAL EVENT is unique or rare or one that might
………recur quarterly, Fifth of a week day, or annually;
………………at a venue no farther than 80 miles from San Francisco's City Hall;
………………………and provides no fewer than two hours of
………………………and general Lead/Follow Social Dancing;
………………………………or is at least a three-day, two-night event that happens
………………………………or within 250 road miles of San Francisco's City Hall.

We will include your event on our Special Events page if you have
a significant change such as:

……► you've hired musicians rather a disk jockey
……► another compelling reason.

……► We prefer to have your event's information four months before it happens.
……► We accept information about events as long as a year in advance.
……► We will ask you to tell us that our version of your event is correct.
