Beaver River - Mile 3
This portion of the river comprises everything from Kelly' Riverside Saloon to the Ohio river.

Fishing Notes
First some comments about the map bearings.  Kelly's Riverside Saloon  is at the northern edge of the map.  The bottom half of the map is the Bridgewater side of the river.  The top half of the map is the Rochester side.

1. Just downstream of Kelly's on the Rochester side of the river there is a stream that empties into the river.  At the mouth of the stream is a small point that drops off sharply to a depth of 12 feet.  This point is good for either casting or trolling to catch bass and sauger.  Sometimes the fish will be in shallow water so try some casts  close to shore. Trolling can also be productive at the base of the point at depths of 8' to 10'.

2.  The main river channel from Kelly's Riverside saloon  to the Ohio river offers plenty of trolling opportunities to catch bass, sauger, and walleye.  Water depth ranges from 12' - 18'.  I would recommend using CD6 and  CD7 Wally Divers or Storm Hot'N Tots with orange, chartreuse, or chrome coloration. In summer troll at 2-3 mph.  When the water is cooler troll at 1-2 mph.

3. From the RR bridge to the Ohio river  there is a large shallow underwater shelf along the Rochester side of the river.   This shelf drops off pretty sharply into deep water.  Bass and the occasional pike or muskie can be caught along this shelf by either casting or trolling.
