2001 North Florida Christian Varsity Softball
After losing 4 All-Big Bend players, the NFC Lady Eagles struggled all year.
They finished with a record of 8-16.
Here are some pictures of our district game with Maclay school.
In the bottom of the 10th inning, Lauren comes up to bat. Runners
on 1st and 2nd, two outs
and the game is tied 2-2.
A base hit to right field scores the runner on 2nd and NFC wins 3-2.
In the Disctrict 4/Class 2A tournament, Lauren drove another stake
in Maclay by going
2 for 3 with 2 RBI's to capture a 4-1 victory and send our rivals
home
for the season, again.
