The meeting was called to
order at 7PM. Dave Millard
opened with the welcome &
prayer & we shared a covered
dish meal together.
Following, the minutes were
read. Steve Hinkley made
a motion to accept them as
read & Don Mencer seconded it. Dave Millard gave a
brief Mayberry News Update.
We then saw Barney Fife
recite the Preamble to the
Constitution. We then viewed
" The Bookie Barber " in our
continuing salute to Floyd
the Barber. It was enjoyed
by all.
Following some brief business, we played Mayberry
Bingo. Prize winners were
Glenda Stull, Joyce Mencer
& Paul Ladrach. Leona Fox
won the door prize for the
evening. Dave Millard offered an orinal poem titled
" Refreshing."
The next meeting will be
held in August & will be the
annual ice cream social. There were 19 present this
evening.
