Fade Away

Radial ties pop all the time,

hopes and dreams are nothing,

we are what we are today,

the same as we were yesterday.

There is no hope, so why dream,

there's nothing to hold onto as we fade away

into the blinking purple haze

of having nothing to be.

We are, you are, see our tries to change

the way things have to be

as we wander far and wide,

touching down where we can as we fade away.

Gliding high above the ground,

tireless, unbroken, yet bound

by the cares and dares of the world

that made us what we are.

Hold onto your shadow lover

as she, he, we fade away

into the nothingness with our broken dreams

tattering and swayed.

Where will we land,

oh yesterday lover,

where will we be today

when everything just falls apart and we fade away?

Drop all your cares and worries, why,

because I have to say,

there is no hope for tomorrow's children,

we have thrown them all away.
