Happy Halloween! After your big night of trick-or-treating, come back by for a strange little costume party. We promise not to steal your candy.

Happy late Saturday night!

Have I ever mentioned that the White Stripes kick 35 brands of ass? ‘Cause, like, they do. I totally wanna hang with Jack and Meg White. They rock. I should have come on here earlier to alert you all to the fact they are on SNL tonight. They have a bit of a Dark Bladesian edge. Grrrrr.

Site Updates
I don’t know if anyone noticed, but we finally archived
July and August Weaver Babbles. So, if you are involved in any historical research or just want to re-read for fun, look to the side bar under Babble Morgue for archived Babble entries by month.

Okay. Check it. We are debuting a new wing to the Fantasy Pic museum – Folk Art. Yep. After all this time, the artwork submitted by Dark Blades readers and Apolo fans has a home on Dark Blades. You can check it out here.

The irony is that in the beginning Fantasy Pics was essentially blank with only a paragraph asking people to submit artwork. Well, no one ever did. So, I started making pics to show people for what were looking to post. Still no one submitted. People just asked me to make more. However, by the time we got submissions, I had already developed a certain pride/“gold standard” about the whole thing. I just couldn’t figure out how to incorporate work from the “outside.” So, now we have it. My thanks go out to Katie and Sandi for their fun submissions, and my apologies for waiting so long to see them on the site.  ||:)>

P.S.  Am I just totally full of shit? Seriously. Someone tell me.

Ooo, baby. October. This is the month when the weather starts to really cool off and hot guys seem to get hotter. Just give me a cute guy in a turtleneck, nice fitting jeans, and a barn jacket . . .  Actually, just give me Apolo curled up in my bed on a cloudy Saturday. Awe yeah . . . *starting to lose focus*

Anyway, October also means Halloween! Candy! Ghost stories! Haunted houses! Costumes! Guys in tight, superhero costumes . . .  Apolo in a skirt . . . *losing the thread again*

Well, I’m going to a couple of Halloween parties this year. One of them is a Scooby-Doo themed party. Guess what my costume will be. Yep. Better get my orange undies washed!

So, what should Apolo be for Halloween this year?

Click here and tell us in the official Halloween costume poll. You don’t have to register. Just make up a name and let your imagination be your only limit. Maybe, just maybe you’ll inspire the creation of a new fantasy pic or two. ||:)>
