Watching the news tonight, I was stunned when the meteorologist reported that this was the wettest March in history. I didn’t know if I was more shocked that they were privy to my personal affairs or the fact that they were broadcasting this on television. The nerve! The guile! Repugnant media. Hmmm . . . maybe they have been tuning into Dark Blades. In that case, well, ya’ know, okay.

Haven’t done as much to the site as I planned on this weekend. It’s been just one of those weekends. Today was (is) my birthday. Yes. It’s true. I was born. Thank you. Thank you. I love birthday presents. I never expect them; and they are always more heartfelt or personal than, say, a Christmas present. Oh, yeah, back to the site . . .

Well, I am about to paste up a new pic in Fantasy Pics and I just added a new section, Voyeur. I think that will be the last section we add for a while. Just need to beef up what we have out there already. I have several great submissions for Distractions and Music from you guys out there. So, be on the look out for those. Thanks again to everyone for emailing us with your submissions and support. We only do this for you. :)

I was watching MTV2 again. I saw this SXSW interview with this band called Sparta. It is the resurrection of the band At The Drive-In (ya’ know, “One Armed Scissor”). (Damn. I love that song.) Just wanted to note that besides the original guys from At The Drive-In (Jim, Paul, and Tony) there is a new guy in the band, Matt, who seems a bit Apolo-esque. Now, I could be wrong. It was just a brief interview. He didn’t talk very much, but he had a really great smile. There is one picture of him on the band’s Web site (http://www.spartamusic.com/) that doesn’t look like the guy I saw. So, I dunno. Just putting the thought out there. I have no idea what Sparta sounds like, either. Their CD just came out. I’ll have to check it and supply a report.

Had lunch at Subway today with my friend, Brad. I swear after we finished eating, I dropped, like, 10 pounds! Thanks Subway! *snicker*

Made a slight update to the About Dark Blades page. About to add a new image to Fantasy Pics. Should have it up by midnight.

We have so many music scenarios and cool fanfics we are polishing up. It is going to be great to get them all posted up. Definitely be on the look out for them this weekend.

I was listening to the radio today. The DJ was talking about the “brand new” Black Rebel Motorcycle Club song “Love Burns.” Man, that kills me how people are getting into them now. I have had the B.R.M.C. CD for, like, a year now. Maybe they’ll eventually get around to playing my fav song off the CD, “Red Eyes and Tears,” on the radio, too.

Hey, just realized that first track on Andrew W.K.’s CD is featured in that commercial . . . I forget what the commercial is for . . . for, like, Priceline or something. It’s the one where the mom and dad are online buying plane tickets for their vacation when their son and his friend walk in. The kids ask how the vacation planning is going. The parents suddenly get a fantasy image of their son and his friend having a wild party in their house while they are gone. The song you hear, “Let's party, and party,” that’s my bloody boyfriend. Awe, bloody boyfriend is getting some commercial residual. Sweet.

Man! Just got an email from a dear pal in NYC. He went to see bloody boyfriend in concert last night! I am soooooo jealous. I think I’ll just sit here and pout the rest of the evening.

I was up until dawn doctoring some pics for the FanFics page. (Right now I’m so tired, I think I’m gonna die.) I added more to Racci’s fanfic story, as well. We’ll get to read the rest of it as soon as she sends it to me. Also, last night I was able to fix the broken pic links on the Fantasy Pics page. Pretty pleased with that page right now. More will be coming.

Went out to pick up the Andrew W.K. CD. Wow! Doin’ it for the fans! Andrew’s CD was on sale for $6.99, regularly $9.99. That’s like a used CD price. I was so happy to see they didn’t change the CD cover for the U.S. market. Bloody boyfriend is still there. *purr* However, it was censored in the store. They have a big black sticker over the lower half of his face. I guess they are still afraid it will scare children or get the cocaine freaks too excited. Well, it didn’t stop me from flipping the CD over and almost passing out at the image of Andrew standing on a dock looking like he just emerged from the lake behind him. *purr* Seriously. If anyone ever hears of or sees a life size poster of the image on the back of his CD – contact me immediately! darkbladeweaver@yahoo.com

I have been listening to Andrew's CD. I am accepting it as his art. I am so into this world he seems to have in his head, I don’t care that the music is going to have to grow on me.

Musically, I am looking forward to the release of Quarashi’s Jinx. I was watching the “Stick ‘Em Up” video today. That freaky little lead barker all lookin’ like Gary Sinise’s little spaz brother in a rip off of the movie "Snatch" . . . That song makes my eyes roll back in my head as I bump 'n' grind  my baggy jeans right off my hips.
