Appearance: Hateya is humanish in appearance, very tall with a stocky build. She shows the traits of her clan in her long, triangular pointed ears and thin, canine-like tail, both covered in short, sandy-colored fur. Her skin is tanned from long hours in the sun, and her hair is golden blond, fluffy, and shorn to her ears.
Personality: Hard and cold, the Desert Clan are not known for their friendliness or kindness, and Hateya certainly fits the stereotype. She is solitary and independant, an antisocial individual who shuns crowds. She is a fighter who shows no mercy to her enemies, but she is also loyal and determined. She is ill-tempered and aggressive, but she is also relatively outgoing, for one of the Desert Clan.
Past: Born in raised in a desert among her Clan, Hateya has always been a fighter. She has been taught to wield any weapon imaginable and has spent most of her life as a guard and soldier when necessary for her Clan. Most other Clans and inhabitants of her world avoid the desert, as water is almost impossible to find except for the Desert Clan, so she met very few outsiders growing up, and her hostile attitude has stuck with her. When she was approached by dragonriders from offworld, she readily agreed to bond a dragon, as she was interested in a partner. She ended up at the Citadel of Shadows.
