Appearance: Tall and lightly built, Ayo has fair skin with striking freckles splashed across her face. Her hair is auburn red, slightly curly, and reaches almost to the ground, sometimes tied into a thick braid, though she rarely takes the time to do so. She has slanted, hazel brown eyes.
Other Form: Ayo shifts into a large macaw. In this form, she has deep blue feathers accented by red and yellow. She is particularly large for her species, but not unusually so.
Personality: Good-natured and with a good temper, Ayo is very outgoing and friendly. She spends a lot of time over her appearance, especially when it involves her job as a fortune-teller. She cultivates a mysterious, enigmatic air when she's working, but otherwise, she is cheerful and fun to be around. She is a very good actress and knows how to act around different types of people. She is exceedingly clever and intelligent.
Past: Ayo ran away from her home as a teenager and joined a traveling band of gypsies. She soon discovered she has a touch of the Sight, although this ability comes and goes without warning. Most of her performances are just that-carefully rehearsed tricks to seperate gullible tourists from their money. From another gypsy, a magician able to shapeshift into various forms, she learned how to turn herself into a colorful bird and uses this ability to eavesdrop, listening for more fodder for her fortune-telling.

She's a vain creature, always cleaning her feathers or straightening her fur. She's proud of herself and she hates being touched, she doesn't allow anyone to pet her pet Ayo, and then only rarely.
