Appearance: Quite tall and slender, D'marin has a lanky, frail-looking build that belies his physical strength. His skin is pale with a hint of a yellow tint to it, and his short, curly hair is golden blond. He has slanted, bright blue eyes often hidden by curly locks.
Personality: Calm and respectful, D'marin is a rather ambitious individual who is serious and doesn't have much of a sense of humor. While friendly once you get on his good side, he tends to show an apathetic air to others, and sometimes comes off as rather rude. He isn't very outgoing, anyway, and wholly dedicated to his work.
Past: Demarin was born as the result of a flight. While fully aware of his parentage, he never saw much of his father, and only slightly more of his mother, and spent most of his childhood running around causing mischief in the lower caverns. He mellowed out a lot as he grew older, though, and when his mother transferred to Darkling Dawn, he went with her. From there, he got searched and Impressed brown Ackaith, after which he began studying to be a dragonhealer before returning to Darkling Dawn.

Personality: Ackaith is as silent and solitary as his bond-even more so, in fact. He is fond of his rider, but doesn't show much interest in any other humans, and precious few dragons, for that matter. He is surprisingly fond of females, and he likes to keep his body in shape, convinced that one day, he will catch that dragoness...
