Appearance: Looking about ten years old, he's actually over three times that. He is small and thin, with fair skin covered by slightly darker freckles. His hair is a washed-out red, straight, and reaches to his ears. He has startlingly dark blue eyes. His body is transparent, surrounded by a faint white glow, though he can make himself more solid for a short time.
Personality: Friendly and outgoing, Neil likes to talk and make friends. Unfortunately for him, his appearance tends to have the opposite effect on other people; they tend to scream and run away or try to hit him. He is a bit naive and still acts rather childish, but it gets very lonely being all on his own, and all he wants is someone to talk to and pass the time with.
Past: Originally born in a neglectful, single-parent home, Neil was starved for love even as a child, and didn't have a very good life. Ironically, his death, brought by a speeding car outside his school, lead him to a better life than the one he'd had before. Hanging around his old school, he tried to contact others and make friends, but mostly he just scared them. So he started wandering off and somehow found his way offworld and bonded both Beurnyloreth and Donanaloth.

Neil is the only one she will even dare open her eyes around. She isn't sure if her eyes will kill like a real cockatrice's, but she doesn't dare take the chance, and Neil is unaffected, being already dead. She gets by with her nose and ears, with some help from Neil.
