Past: He hails from an isolationist eastern nation called Souton on an unnamed planet. Coming from an aristocratic family, his life was easy and he soon had a job in the government. Once he found his way to Darkling Dawn, he bonded Serine and promptly returned home, though Serine makes him get out into the Nexus once in a while.

She often goes back to Darkling Dawn, or other places in the Nexus, with Daiki.
