Cerin gasped as they came out of between. Tiynarea Weyr was huge. The green dragon he was riding landed, and he got off. Quara led him towards the hatching grounds, pointing out some of the rooms they passed. They came to a dark, cold room. Quara sighed. "Those are the abandoned sands. Poor things. They've been in there ever since their riders abandoned them." Cerin gasped. "But, I thought dragons went between if..." Quara shrugged. "They didn't. Who knows, maybe they're waiting for a new rider." She glanced at Cerin. "...Is it alright if I go in?" Cerin asked. "Certainly." Quara nodded. "I'll wait for you out here." He went in. He had Impressed a human once, and Damerio had left him here. He had no love for humans, and generally didn't trust them, as a rule. Go away, human. He turned away, growling to himself. Cerin blinked. "Ok then. Well, good bye, Rigelth. Good luck, whatever you're doing down here. If you ask me, it's kinda pointless, just wasting away down here. I mean, there are plenty of candidates better than the ones that left you here. They certainly wouldn't just abandon you here." Rigelth stared after him, thinking... |
