Appearance: Ean is fairly tall, around six feet, with a lean but muscular build, it's obvious he keeps in shape. His skin is a pale, creamy color which, strangely enough, never seems to burn in the sun. His eyes are a bright, jewel-like green color. His wild hair is black and cut short to the nape of his neck, and overall, he has a handsome, slightly scruffy appearance.
He has a unique ability to transform into a large, black ghost-like dog called a barghest. He has thick, rough black fur and extremely sharp claws, as well as burning red eyes, and overall, looks rather terrifying. He also seems to be able to turn transparent and walk through objects in this form.
Personality: Despite what one would think from someone who rides a hydra, Ean is quite friendly and outgoing. He's always extremely cheery and upbeat, virtually nothing seems to be able to get him down, and he's got a very good temper. He's playful and rather mischeivous, likes to joke around, although he has a serious side as well. Beneath that friendly exterior, he does have a dangerous side which shows itself whenever his close friends are in danger, and in his barghest-form, but this is rarely ever seen.
Past: No one knows where Ean came from either, though it's apparent he's been traveling with Rahel for some time now. He's certainly not entirely human, so he's likely from an alternate Earth-type world. As for where Cusith came from...we're not even gonna go there.

Pets: Female Phoenix rukel, Firebird
Firebird's a fiery, very affectionate rukel who loves to be pampered and petted, she immediately latched herself to Ean a few days after he arrived at Darkling Dawn. Her name...should be fairly obvious, given her phoenix-like appearance.
