So how did the bastard son of the most famous US Marshall become an English Lord? Well, settle in boys & girls, here's the story... Character Creation: Lord Brooks was inspired largely by John Wayne's incredible role of JB Books in "The Shootist" (which you should see if you never have, it's his last & best role). The other two lesser inspirations are Rory Calhoun's portrayl of psychopathic hunter Jonathan Kincaid on an episode of Gilligan's Island and Lord John Roxton from the television show "The Lost World" which was on air when I "created" Lord Brooks.
