Background:
Nemic was found by a passing warrior named Sennan who found the infant by
the dead bodies of his parents.  Taking pity on the orphan, Master Sennan
raised the baby and taught him the ways of the 2 Bladed Sword.  Unknown
to Nemic during his childhood, Master Sennan had more members of his
teachings out in the world.  All Nemic knew was that from time to time
his "father" would leave him for months at a time.  As Nemic grew into 
his weapon, Master Sennan told him about his childhood and parents.  
Nemic felt sorrow for the dead people, but he had never known them
only Master Sennan who he felt as a father to him.  When Nemic was about
18, Master Sennan sent him out to hunt for food and told Nemic to
not return to the house for at least a week.  Nemic thought that he had 
angered Master Sennan and in trying to earn his Master's approval 
back, he did as told.  When Nemic came back home, he found Master Sennan 
dead, his sword broken and a black dagger laying beside his master.  
Nemic swore holy righteous revenge on whomever had ended his master's 
life.  With that Nemic took his Master's ring, buried his master's body 
and burned the bodies of his master's fallen foes along with the only 
home Nemic had ever known.  After that act, Nemic had changed and grown up.  
After some work, Nemic found out the group that had slain his master was 
known as "The Black Blade".  Nemic has also found out about his fellow 
"family members", other former pupils of Master Sennan.  Nemic now 
adventures with his friends, searching for members of "The Black Blade" 
to bring to justice.




Character Creation:
Nemic, for those of you that don't see it, is basically my attempt at 
using the character of "Darth Maul" in D&D.  Maul was the ONLY 
decent thing to come out of and the only interesting character from 
the Star Wars prequels.  I struggled with the name and was searching 
IMDB.com for an name.  Turns out it was Corrin Nemic's birthday.  
For those of you that don't know, Corrin played the title character 
in the show "Parker Lewis Can't Lose".  
While I didn't originally intend for it, our DM Fred took my Star Wars 
inspiration further and we started coming up with some Jedi/Sith 
type powers and abilities for the character.  So I can call my sword 
through the air and kick even more butt?  Ok, you talked me into it.
