History: Orla was born to the Misty Falls clan. She was trained early to be a warrior, but her temper often made her rough with her peers and mentors. Several mentors gave up on her and her peers avoided her, even out of the practice field. When she turned 19 seasons, she petitioned the clan to become Clan Protector. She was denied several years successively without even a trial as all hopefuls are usually allowed. The reason was because she didn't receive full training and her temper held her back. A Clan Protector was supposed to be calm, focused, and ready for anything. Orla had yet to prove this to the elders of the clan.

Furious, Orla took her temper at the treatment out on a rival warrior in the clan and killed the woman. Her peers were shocked at the bursts blood vessels that appeared as great purple welts on Orla's face and neck. She was shunned, and sent into the mountains to try to cleanse herself. Orla left, but she didn't remain in the mountains. She traveled toward the south. Following the mountains, she bypassed the Blue Desert and soon came across the Great Canyon. She had heard stories about the Nightsisters who are reputed to occupy that area and hide in the mountains for several days to spy on them until she was found by Dhimitrix.

For the last few years, she had been trained by Dhimitrix and became one of many Clan Protectors, no longer having rivals except when it came to males. Since the Imperials came, she had plenty of those to go around, plus she was quickly learning how to use their weapons, even though the whuffa whip is her favorite above all the newer weapon types.
