History: Woona Mi was born to the Bright Waters Clan. She was an active child for her first twelve seasons, until one day she overheard a story by the clan's storyteller that caught her attention. It was about Baccya's mate, a mean, dark man who was brutal to the witches and practically controlled the whole of Dathomir. The story so intrigued her that someone of that nature could rule Dathomir, she began to take every opportunity she had to listen to the storyteller. It was around this time she was beginning to be harassed into choosing a path for training by her elders.
Two years later, with all the stories the storyteller knew, Woona left the clan. She took provisions with her and traveled east through a thick forest, then southeast toward the Blue Desert. She nearly died in the crossing of the desert, but managed to find a small lake south of the Blue Desert to rehydrate herself. She foraged and reprovisioned herself for a couple of days before continuing on her journey. East was her direction yet again, but a chain of mountains was soon in her way. She managed to find a couple of easy passes through the mountains, but after several days of being in the mountains, she was caught with one day of food left and a blizzard brewing in the higher altitude.
Dhimitrix found her half frozen body six hours after the storm hit and carried her back to through the easier passes the Nightsisters have discovered through those mountains to a cavern that was connected to a cave in the Nightsister's canyon. There she built up a fire to thaw out the young girl, Woona, and fed her warm broth from Dhimitrix's provisions. The girl was very ill for weeks afterwards, but Sabra took the child in, recognizing the fact that the young girl willing left her clan to seek something better. While Woona was convalescing, she would tell stories in her delirious moments. They were so entertaining and twisted from the original stories told by the storyteller in the Bright Waters Clan, that Sabra began spending some time with the girl to tell her other stories about the Great Canyon Clan - the Nightsister Clan.
The girl was attentive during these sessions when she was lucid and soon learned that there was no storyteller in this clan. She volunteered and became accustomed and comfortable with the ways of the Nightsisters. She felt a freedom she never knew before, and makes sure all the stories that make the Dathomirian witches of the other clans look bad were often told as entertainment to the Nightsisters. It was Sabra who began her training in putting mental images into others' minds as she told the stories to give them a more intimate effect.
