Carb project update (2/19/02): I have the carbs all bolted to the manifold now, and I am still waiting to buy the last linkage peice I need. I just recently started working on making a dual choke control (I am using bicycle cable, it's strong, flexible, and cheap!) long enough to reach both carbs. Listed below is how the carbs are jetted now. I plan on using this as a starting point. I think that I will need smaller main jets and probably smaller air corrector jets (and possibly smaller idle jets) to help compensate for the high elevation around here (5,000+ feet). |
