I decided that Mike was, after all, not Michael in disguise. But it still seemed there might be some connection, and it occurred to me that Michael and Mike might be half brothers.
      Mike had lots of people knocking on his door--that had been the case with Michael also--and my impression was that it was much the same group of people in both cases.
      The shootings of May 31 changed matters. Fortunately, neither victim was killed. They were interviewed, one assumes, by the police. The basic question would have been “What was the context in which the shootings had occurred?”
       Building management and police then probably shared some information and six tenants were asked to leave.
        One of those was Mike.
        Six apartments were consequently to sit idle for at least two months and Kingsley Properties was thus out somewhere in the neighborhood of $4,000 in lost rents.
        But, as 2007 began, the electronic equipment which I’d objected to was still there in my apartment and I was still being harassed. I'd made many phone calls to the Mayor's office, talking specifically to Deputy Mayor,
Steve Campbell. So I decided to support Steve's boss, Bart Peterson for Ex-Mayor in the 2007 election:

"Bart for Ex-Mayor!"
      
The duties of an ex-mayor are to go off somewhere, live in reasonable comfort, and never be heard from again.
         Mayor Bart could make the best ex-mayor in Indianapolis history!
         Since Bart has many many "little favors" for people, he probably won't have to worry about supporting himself. *

     
So use your "X" in November to make Bart an "Ex!"

*(The only problem might be that those for whom he's done favors might be in jail or aren't the sort to ever feel gratitude.)
